If you are looking at our class pictures, please continue to scroll down the entire page. It may look like you have run out of pictures, however, there is a big gap between some of them. I have tried to move them but they are not cooperating. The pictures take you through some of our activites during the year. I hope you enjoy them.

Summer Update- June 22
WELCOME TO SUMMER, at least officially.
I want to take this time to say that after a long winter and spring of sickness, I am now officially well. The doctor has cleared me to go back to work with no restrictions. All I know to say is THANK YOU LORD! And thank you for all the prayers.
Psalm 145:3 Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.
To all the new parents and students, welcome to 2nd grade. I hope you will find this class page helpful. It is meant to be a link to the classroom. I encourage you to check it weekly once the school year starts. I will update it with our weekly schedule, each new memory verse and spelling list, any classroom news or updates, and lots of classroom pictures.
I also encourage you to visit our school web site for school news and updates. Also, take advantage of my email link. I will check my email each day and reply as quickly as possible.
The class supply list is posted on the school web page.
I hope to see you at Open House on August 14th. Remember, school starts on Monday, August 17th.
Have a great and fun filled summer!

NOTE OF ENCOURAGEMENT
WOW! WHERE DID APRIL COME FROM!!! I know we are all happy to see SPRING after such a long and sickly winter! Believe me, I know that spring brings it's own set of discomforts with allergies, but it still feels brighter and more glorious!
Even as I sit here listening to the thunderstorms, and I LOVE THUNDERSTORMS, just ask the children, and I consider the colder weather of the next few days,(CAN YOU BELIEVE SNOW), I am reminded that God promises to us in Isaiah 40:8 - The grass withereth, the flower fadeth, but the WORD OF OUR GOD SHALL STAND FOR EVER!!! PSALMS 8:9 tells us that "O LORD OUR LORD, HOW EXCELLENT IS THY NAME IN ALL THE EARTH!"
As we enter into the wonderous season of spring, let us not forget that not all of us have left the winter blahs behind. We never know what a smile conceals, but thanks be to our SAVIOR AND LORD JESUS CHRIST, HE DOES KNOW! AND HE CARES! JEREMIAH 29:13 is an assurance (promise) ..."And ye shall seek me, and find me, WHEN YE SHALL SEARCH FOR ME WITH ALL YOUR HEART."
Dear Lord, help us, as your people, no matter the conditions in which we may find ourselves, to SEEK YOU WITH ALL OUR HEART and know that you will be found to be faithful and loving to us. We know this is true because of your promise to us in Isaiah that no matter the situation, YOUR WORD STANDS FOREVER! HELP US TO REMEMBER PSALMS 8:9 ...."HOW EXCELLENT IS THY NAME IN ALL THE EARTH!"

Here we are with our HOMECOMING QUEEN, Jessica. Jessica is our student helper and is MUCH LOVED by the 2nd Grade class. Congratulations, Jessie.
I'm sorry to say that Zoie was cut out of the class picture. However, here she is with her brother, Justin and their dog, Boots. Boots was a little excited to say the least. He is a very good howler! :)And Justin is a very good big brother! Thanks, Justin.
